Change of times

Starting in September there will be new times for our sessions. Monday evenings will be 7.30pm until 9.30pm, to accommodate tutors travelling from afar in the winter months. Wednesday afternoons will be 2 pm until 4 pm, to allow members with morning activities to have some lunch!

Membership fees

Due to hugely increased costs of booking the Civic Hall under the new East Cheshire regime, we have been forced to increase our membership to £20 to stay solvent. You MUST send in your membership form BEFORE the AGM to qualify for the £20 fee. If you leave it until the AGM you will have to pay £25, which will also be the charge for any new members joining in September. Membership for new members in subsequent years will be the same as for existing members.

We are happy to be able to offer a few places to some of the people on our waiting list, but it is unlikely that we will be able to accommodate them all. (Apparently, if our membership goes over 100 we have to pay much larger insurance charges.)

Current courses :-

If inclement weather strikes again and causes cancellations then members who have already paid for these courses will be given credit for the next course attended.

On Wednesday afternoons at 2.00pm in the Arts Centre commencing February 17th for six weeks, David Newcombe is tutoring a course on creating moods in oils or acrylics. See Bring along Weds for materials etc.

On Monday evenings at 7.30pm in Bollington Civic Hall, commencing February 15th for six weeks, Richard Prime is tutoring a course on Animals in Pastel. See Bring along Monday for materials.

On Monday evening at 7.30pm, March 29th in the Civic Hall we welcome Jeff Teasdale back again to give an illustrated lecture on David Hockney. Bring along any interested friends, cost £3. The same lecture will be given for the Wednesday class on March 31st at 2.00pm.
